Ecoglide Buoy Protection System (BPS)
A tested system designed to keep buoys cleaner with longer-lasting, brighter colours - requiring no repaints and fewer service visits.

Components

• SabetoFLEX Recycled Primer – full-coverage primer across the surface for optimal adhesion
• Ecoglide BioFIX antifouling – below the waterline for durable, low leach performance
• 1 m² Ecoglide PIB protection patches – above the waterline in standard buoy colours (Yellow, Green and Red in IALA approved RAL colours)

Why we believe it works

• Colour longevity: Testing of PIB patches 18,000 hours of UV exposure with no significant colour fade - no repainting required.
• Cleaner surfaces from day one: The ultra-dense PIB surface is designed to resist slime and early biofilm attachment.
• Layered system approach: Primer for adhesion; PIB patches for above-water protection and signalling; BioFIX for below-water protection.
